ATLANTA – March 6, 2023 – FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FLT), a leading global business payments company, today announced SVP and Chief Information Security Officer James Edgar has been named among the 2023 Top Cybersecurity Leaders by Security Magazine. The award “highlights the accomplishments of innovative information security professionals across sectors.” Edgar is one of seven cybersecurity leaders selected in the publication’s third year of presenting the awards.
Edgar is FLEETCOR’s second-ever CISO, overseeing a Global Information Security team that focuses on responding to incidents and identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities. Edgar has grown his team significantly since his arrival in 2016 and expanded the team’s global capabilities in cybersecurity operations, risk management, assurance, and governance.
